One of the new features of iOS 9 is the back to app shortcut which appears in the top left corner of the Status bar and allows you to switch back to the original app from where you were redirected. These app links or breadcrumbs provide a quicker method of multitasking as you don’t need to open the App Switcher to switch back to the previous app.Â
