Apple leases ex-Pepsi bottling plant in Sunnyvale; sparks off speculation it could be for rumored Apple Car project

Apple has leased a 96,000 square foot industrial property in Sunnyvale, California, which was previously a bottling plant for Pepsi co. The company’s lease had started back in November, though it was only revealed in late February via some public documents.
