Bluetooth 5 with 2x Range and 4x Speed to Be Announced Next Week

The Bluetooth SIG will formally announce the next generation of Bluetooth standard, Bluetooth 5, on June 16th in London next month. The next version of Bluetooth will offer 2x the coverage range and 4x the transfer speed compared to the current version.
