The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus feature an IP67 certification that makes them dust, splash, and water resistant in Apple’s own language. As early buyers of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are now making their way to hands of customers, quite a few waterproof test for Apple’s new iPhones have made their way to YouTube.
Some of these tests include dunking the phone in aerated drink, hot coffee, and one of them even went ahead and dropped the phone in the ocean. The new iPhones emerged from all the tests working just fine. The only thing to note here is that the touchscreen of the iPhones did not work underwater but that is understandable given their capacitive nature.
