It was only a few days ago when Apple pushed the iOS 10.2 beta 4, and now the company has released the 5th beta for iOS 10.2 software update for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices. TheiOS 10.2 beta 5 si available to both the registered iOS developers as well as the Public Beta testing program members.
With the release of iOS 10.2 beta 5,it is highly likely that Apple may drop the final release of iOS 10.2 to the general public soon. The first beta of iOS 10.2 software update was released during the last week of October. With this yet another beta release, Apple is getting into the position where it feels that the software version can be consumed by masses on a truly global scale. It is highly likely that Apple will push iOS 10.2 final version in December.
Just like the previous beta release, the 5th beta of iOS 10.2 is meant to add more stability and fix bugs in the upcoming mobile operating system.With that said, the final version of iOS 10.2 itself is meant to bring notable new features and improvements to iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
If your device is already running any beta version of iOS 10.2, you can easily update to the beta 5 by going in Settings > General > Software Update as an Over-the-Air install. The latest beta is also available for download from Apple Developer’s portal as a full-sized IPSW file that can be restored using iTunes.
As far as the What’s new and changes in beta 5 are concerned, the update weighs at around 60MB in size that hints at nothing major added to the software update. Here’s the official change-log:

– The TV app should no longer crash or show “TV is unavailable†on iPod touch.
– Syncing with iTunes 12.5 through 12.5.3 should no longer delete TV app library content.Known issues:
TV app cannot be restored after it is deleted.
