Google’s popular keyboard app – Gboard for iOS, has been updated with support for latest emoji in iOS 10, voice typing feature, added support for 15 new languages, and more.
Gboard is often used as an alternate to the keyboard that comes built-in the iOS operating system. Its most loved feature is the glide-typing feature. Glide-typing feature allows users to type by simply sliding their finger from key to key without lifting.It also comes with integrated search feature. Google launched its keyboard for iOS last year, it was updated with 3D Touch feature and now gets iOS 10 emoji support.
According to Google, Gboard now supports all the latest iOS 10 emojis, voice typing, and supports 15 new languages including Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Greek, Polish, Romanian, Swedish, Catalan, Hungarian, Malay, Russian, Latin American Spanish and Turkish. Flagging new GoogleDoodles is also a fun new addition to the keyboard.
Doodles are one of the Googley-est things about Google. These fun animations honor holidays, anniversaries and notable people, and often teach you about a little slice of history. Now you can access them right from Gboard. On days when there’s a Doodle, you’ll see the “G†button animate, cuing you to quickly tap to open up the day’s Doodle and search for more information about it.
