iPhone 6s+ iOS 9.1 camera adapter compatibility tweak?

I’m in a difficult situation. In two days I’m moving to a place that only has wired Internet. I found a way to get my phone to work with an ethernet cable. Here’s the problem. I’m on iOS 9.1, and for the Ethernet cable to work, I need to use the iPhone camera adapter. The camera adapter is only supported for iOS 9.2 and up. Is there any way I can fix this without updating?
