The USPTO has approved a total of 45 new patents for Apple with a couple of notable inclusions. One of these is related to the original iOS multitouch patent filed by Apple. Naturally, the patent seems mundane and ancient, but it’s not particularly surprising. Other UI elements like the iOS keypad, and the controls or “virtual elements” meant for gaming are also covered by this patent.
