Dejian Zeng, a grad student from NYU, went to work undercover in one of Pegatron’s factory in China that produces iPhones. He worked in the contract manufacturer’s ChangShuo factory for six weeks as a part of his summer project. The revelations he makes are startling and shows how being a worker at an iPhone factory is a thankless and low-paying job.
