Apple recently published an overview of its differential privacy tech, which has revealed some interesting stats pertaining to emoji usage in the U.S. As per this report, the “face with tears of joy” is the most popular emoji in the country, followed by red heart, crying loudly face, heart eyes face, face throwing a kiss, face with rolling eyes, skull, smiling face with smiling eyes, weary face, and thinking face. Apple didn’t share the statistics however, although the chart suggests that the face with tears of joy emoji significantly outperformed the others on the list.
