When Apple first introduced the iPhone 7 back in 2016 without the headphone jack, it included a Lightning to 3.5mm adapter with the handset to make the transition easier for its customers. The company continued the same trend with the iPhone 8 and iPhone X in 2018 and bundled a Lightning to 3.5mm adapter with these devices.Â
