With every passing year, smartphones are becoming more capable devices when it comes to photography. With iPhone XS being the latest iPhone, the company has highlighted some of the best photos taken with an iPhone XS.
These highlighted photos were originally shared by those who have purchased an iPhone XS and posted these photo under “#ShotOniPhoneXS” hashtag via Twitter and Instagram. Apple has collected some of the best ones from the hashtag effectively showcasing some key camera features of iPhone XS such as Portrait mode, Smart HDR, Depth Control, advanced bokeh, and other features.
The iPhone XS comes with an almost identical camera as found on the iPhone X, but with multiple upgrades in pictures and tweaked features to make photos look better than ever before. The wide-angle-image sensor on iPhone XS and XS Max is 32 percent larger than the one found on the iPhone XS and it has twice the speed for better image fidelity. Other improvements include better low light performance and greater color accuracy.
By taking advantage of the second-generation Neural Engine and image signal processor included with the A12 Bionic chip, iPhone XS processes images using s Smart HDR to provide a better dynamic range. The Portrait mode on iPhone XS not only artfully blurs the background of a photo, but it also provides better Depth Control and bokeh effects.
