German Court Says Motorola Xoom Doesn’t Infringe Apple’s iPad Design Patent

Associated Press reports that a German court has ruled in favor of Motorola, saying that the company’s Android based tablet, Xoom, doesn’t infringe on Apple’s iPad design patent.
Apple had earlier filed a case in the Dusseldorf, Germany court seeking an injunction on the sales of Motorola’s Xoom throughout the European Union, claiming that the tablet’s design and looks resembled closely with the iPad.
