MuscleNerd, and his new jailbreak development team Evad3rs has confirmed that iOS 6.1 gas been jailbroken, its test proved the untethered jailbreak which means that we can safely reboot our device without losing the jailbreak or any of the built-in features, and it will release on Super Bowl Sunday.
As you may know, the new team, Evad3rs team is made up of jailbreaking veterans, including MuscleNerd and planetbeing of the original iPhone Dev Team, pimskeks of the Chronic Dev Team, and pod2g, who was responsible for part of the second-generation iPod touch jailbreak and other more recent jailbreaks.
Till the releasing of the untethered jailbreak you have to start to give the last touch to iOS 6.1 untethered jailbreak and know some important details:
1) Untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.1 is going to support almost all devices there compatible with latest iOS release like:
- iPhone 5, 4 & 4S, and 3GS,
- iPad 2, 3, 4, and Mini
- iPod Touch 4G & 5G
- Apple TV.
2) You should prepare your devices to get the untethered jailbreak without losing anything by doing the next:
