Apple finally released iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S at Town Hall in Cupertino today, and they featured some exciting new features and upgrades. We extensively covered the details of both the handsets, and now it’s time we tell you about their prices.

The handsets will be available in locked and unlocked versions. The iPhone 5S has been offered in three storage options – 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB, while the iPhone 5C has been offered in only two storage options – 16 GB and 32 GB.

The locked versions of the phones will be available on a two-year contract on major carriers. The price of iPhone 5S will be $199 for 16 GB, $299 for 32 GB and $399 for 64 GB, while the iPhone 5C will be sold at $99 for 16 GB and $199 for 64 GB.

Now coming over to contract-free, and more affectionately factory unlocked iPhone 5S, it will be sold at $649 for 16 GB, $749 for 32 GB and $849 for 64 GB. The factory unlocked iPhone 5C will be sold at $549 for 16 GB and $649 for 32 GB. The low price of 5C is because of the polycarbonate rear casing.

Pre-orders are only available for iPhone 5C, while both 5S and 5C will arrive in stores on September 20th. They will also be sold through Apple’s online stores.

Color options for iPhone 5S – gold, silver, slate
