As a reminder, the gold color was introduced with the latest iPhone 5s, and the handset is this particular option has sold quicker than everyone expected.
While a gold color option may not be somewhat a surprise, the thought of the Touch ID on next-gen iPad Mini is fascinating.
And if iPad Mini 2 has the Touch ID, iPad 5 will likely to include this as well.
Sonny Dickson also added some details, saying that iPad Mini 2 will have 1 GB RAM, the latest A7 64-bit chip and M7 chip, while iPad 5 will have 2 GB RAM.
Full details will be unveiled next month, with some confirmation, as Apple is already expected to unveil both the iPads at some media event that takes place in October.
