OptoFidelity Touch & Test is a test platform for touch device testing. PDT stands for panel performance device level testing. OptoFidelity Touch & Test measures the touch panel accuracy. This tester includes a robot with an artificial finger.
The tester compares the coordinates of robot to the coordinates captured from the touch device. Each of the devices was tapped on the screen and the actual touch position was compared to the coordinates reported. ±1 mm was the PASS/FAIL limit, and a red point was for FAIL while a green point was for PASS.

The results were somewhat unexpected, because the iPhone’s touch result was quite bad around the edges. Furthermore, there was a completely different onset at the above part of the screen compared to the bottom. But the source said the touch accuracy was better than S3, because the failed keyboard letters were only 3; P, O and Q. Here’s a video of the report;
