Well well, it looks like that Apple has just seeded its latest 10.9.1 beta for OS X developers, the new beta is under build number 13B40, compared to the 13B35 build released back on November 21. Like build 13B35, this version focuses on Apple Mail, Safari, VoiceOver, and graphics drivers. Check inside for more details, screenshots, and the full release notes.

This latest update includes the following changes:

  • Improved support for Gmail pinnacle OS X mail, and fixes for users with custom Gmail settings
  • Improves the reliability of Smart Mailboxes and search in Mail
  • Fixes an issue that prevented contact groups from working properly in Mail
  • Resolves an issue that prevented VoiceOver from speaking sentences that contain emoji
  • Updates Shared Links periodically when open in the Safari Sidebar

And here’s a picture I’ve captured from my computer shows some info about the new beta:

Registered Apple developers who wish to test the latest OS X beta should head over to the Mac Dev Center. There you will find a link to download the 192.62 KB Mavericks Seed Configuration Utility in order to start process. After you do this, you’ll be taken to the Mac App Store downloads page to start the actual download and install process of this latest beta build.

OS X Mavericks 10.9.1 beta is about 243MB and you can download it right now from the Mac App Store.
