The iOS 7.1 beta 2 was released last week for developers, and according to BGR, a new build has been given out to carrier partners, and the public release of the new beta for developers is still months away.

Jonathan Geller from the source citing someone trusted says that iOS 7.1 will arrive in March 2014, and this means there are three months left if this story is to be believed.

“Apple has begun seeding a new build of iOS 7.1 to testing partners, we have learned from a trusted source. iOS 7.1 beta 3 is said to bring several important bug fixes in addition to some new features, though our source was uncomfortable detailing these for us at this time.”

However, it’s difficult to see the possibility from the former .1 releases. Apple’s iOS 6.1 came in January, but the former 5.1 came at the start of March, so there’s no confirmation whether this is going to be true or not.

That aside, it should be noted that iOS 7.1 will come with a new feature of iOS in the Car, which Gellar thinks could have been the reason for the delayed release. Other than that, it will include new features and some bug fixes.

But with this release date, there might be something else going on at Apple. What do you think? Or this report might not hold true as the jailbreak is out.

NOTE: We say it again, when Apple release this new version, no one should update to it and wait until we hear an official word from the hackers about iOS 7 untethered jailbreak statue.
