With iOS 7′s release, Apple has relented, and incorporated some of the features, like paging within folders, that made FolderEnhancer such a great release. For that reason, the new FolderEnhancer for iOS 7 may seem a bit underwhelming for those of you whose jailbreaking experience goes back some time.
FolderEnhacner takes folders to another great lever from features.. The tweak is available for free for those of you who purchased the original version, and it’s only $0.99 for newcomers. Have a look at our video walkthrough inside to see what the latest version of FolderEnhancer is all about.
Once installing the tweak on your iPhone, go to the tweak’s settings performance where you will find three sections: effect, close all folders, and icon layout. The effect section features two toggles for eliminating the open/close and zooming animation when opening or closing folders. I’m not a big fan of eliminating the open and close animation, as the result is too jarring for my taste. Some may argue that eliminating the animation makes iOS seem faster, but it comes at the expense of the user experience in my opinion. The tweak’s zoom toggle, which allows you to disable the wallpaper zoom upon opening a folder is a much more palatable option.
