Samsung asks athletes to cover Apple logo on iPhones during opening ceremony

Samsung is allegedly handing out Galaxy Note 3 devices to Olympic athletes in Sochi. As part of the gift, Samsung is asking athletes to cover the Apple logo on any iPhone they bring to the opening ceremony. This voluntary ban ensures sponsor Samsung takes the center stage during the Olympics’ most public event.
