Although the App Store is full of great and popular apps that no one can ever hate to play it, but a lot of people still like the old days when they were playing awesome Nintendo games on their Atari or other devices… Nintendo has no plans to bring its games to the App Store, but you can still play them using NDS4iOS emulator and you don’t even have to jailbreak your device.

NDS4iOS is similar to GB4iOS 2.0, the jailbreak-free Game Boy Advanced emulator that was released couple of months back.

The emulator takes advantage of Apple’s Enterprise Distribution program, which allows the installation of non-App Store apps without the need to jailbreak a device. It includes support for Dropbox sync just like GB4iOS.

It is a very simple emulator and anyone can use it on a non-jailbroken device… All what you have to do is following these simple steps:
  • Start the download of NDS4iOS from this link. Please note that you need to click on the “Install nds4ios (Stable) via OTA” (Not the “Open nds4ios (Stable) in Cydia”). Tap on Install when you’re prompted if you get the following message: github would like to install “nsds4ios”
  • Then open the Settings app, tap General.
  • Tap Date & Time
  • Tap on the On/Off toggle next to Set Automatically to turn it off.
  • Change the date to February 8th, 2014

After it is successfully installed, you can enable the Set Automatically toggle again to revert back to the current date and time. You can access the Dropbox sync option, by tapping on the menu icon in the top left corner, followed by Settings. When you tap on the On/Off toggle next to the Enable Dropbox Sync option, it will launch Dropbox app and prompt you to tap Allow to give the NDS4iOS app access to data in your Dropbox account so you can access your ROMs.

Let us know what do you think about this awesome emulator and how do you find Nintendo games.
