Apple opens first retail store in Japan since 2006

Yesterday we told you about the first internal memo that Apple retail chief Angela Ahrendts sent to employees, in which she detailed an upcoming visit to Japan to visit the first Apple Store opening in the country since 2006. That retail store is located in the Omotesando region, and it opened this morning in the Japanese capital of Tokyo. As expected, Ahrendts was on hand for the grand opening.
