Apple publishes disappointing employee diversity report: 55% white in U.S., 70% male globally

In early July, while Tim Cook was in attendance at the Sun Valley conference in Idaho, the Apple CEO confirmed that the company would be publishing their employee diversity report within the coming months, but didn’t provide a timetable. On August 12, the company officially published the data, as originally reported by Re/code.
