September 9 is going to be a big day for iPhone users, because Apple will launch iPhone 6 with two different models which are 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screens size. Earlier today we showed you some images of 5.5-inch iPhone 6’s massive battery that were published by Apple Daily. Today the same website published photos of the larger iPhone’s front panel and logic board.

Chinese rumor blog Apple Daily has acquired photos of what it claims are the next-generation iPhone, including the 5.5-inch model we’ve seen much less of in recent weeks. The two photos above show the larger device (with the purple interior) paired with a 4.7-inch version. The wider 5.5-inch model is to the right and the 4.7 display panel is on the left. While some may note that the part on the right does not appear much larger than the part on the left, it is possible that the image’s perspective does not highlight the size differentiation well.

The report claim that Apple’s next generation 5.5 inch iPhone 6 will be called “iPhone 6L” we recently received a tip which claimed that the larger iPhone 6 will be called iPhone 6L. The tipster told us that it was from an “inside source”.

Apple has suffixed the name of the iPhone model with a letter before, so it can’t be completely ruled out. Last year, Apple launched the iPhone 5c (“c” is for colors), which is essentially an iPhone 5 in a plastic body that comes in different colors. Apple has also used the “s” suffix for iPhone models that are an incremental update like the iPhone 5s, iPhone 4s and iPhone 3GS.
