Apple looking to improve Liquidmetal manufacturing for potential use in future iPhones and iPads

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Thursday published an Apple patent filing that covers methods of melting and moulding Liquidmetal for manufacturing purposes. The patent filing details several different electronic devices that could use the amorphous material, including iPhones, iPads, iPods and TV and computer monitors.
