Apple granted patent for interactive holographic display device

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Tuesday granted Apple with a patent related to a glasses-free interactive holographic display device that utilizes laser beams, micro lenses and sensors to show holographic images of objects. The futuristic sounding invention has a two-dimensional panel that is capable of supporting touch screen technology.
