In the couple few days, we’ve heard many reports claiming that Apple will live stream its iPad event on October 16 by adding a live stream video on its official website alongside a channel specialized in streaming events on the Apple TV. It looks like that Apple has just confirmed it will live stream October 16 iPad event.

The Live page, which is a dedicated portal for any live streaming events the Cupertino-based company covers, has just been switched on early on Friday, October 10, several days before the official media event kicks off. The page is pretty straightforward, with the familiar multi-colored Apple logo, along with the tag-line: “It’s been way too long,” which the company used on their event invites sent out on Wednesday, October 8.

Apple is saying that anyone wishing to watch the event live should return to the page. The media event is scheduled to begin at 10:00am PDT, or 1:00pm EDT. It was early in the morning on October 10 that it was initially reported that Apple would be live streaming the event, and now Apple has officially made it official. There’s even an option near the bottom to add the event directly to your calendar.

As we said before, Apple is expected to launch new iPad Air 2, iMac and announce the public release date of OS X Yosemite..
