Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus features too many great things like adjust display zoom scaling and enabling/disabling landscape mode. However, it looks like that you will be able to use these awesome features on your older devices like iPhone 5s and iPhone 5 by using a tweak called LittleBrother developed by Ryan Petrich, the well known developer..

The main purpose of this tweak is two things: adjust the display zoom scaling like the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, and enable landscape mode features on the Home screen and even Lock screen.

We already tested it on our iPhone 5 device and we can ensure that it is working very good and we think that you are going to love it..

Check out this video review for the tweak:

Once installing the tweak on your iPhone, go to the tweak settings panel where you will find three display zoom settings for you to enjoy, , and these settings influence how much screen real estate is available on the Home screen and within compatible apps.

The three settings are large, which looks like the normal iPhone 5s scaling; medium, which is the best setting in my opinion; and small, a setting with potential, but with problems as well. All in all, the medium display zoom setting is the best choice for most users. It provides adequate extra real estate, and its devoid of some of the glitches induced by the small setting.

Like the Upscale tweak that we reviewed yesterday, the whole point of LittleBrother is to provide users with more usable space on screen. This means that you’ll see more panels on screen at any given time within the Settings app, more photo previews in the Photos app, etc. The scaling doesn’t play nice with every app, though. For example, the App Store app maintains its default scaling regardless of what display zoom setting you use.

The tweak’s other flagship feature, the landscape toggles for the Home and Lock screen, face similar issues. Yes, the Home screen is nice to view in landscape mode, but I find it to be somewhat frustrating since many default apps don’t play nice with landscape mode on the iPhone. To be fair, this same issue affects the iPhone 6 Plus out of the box, but to a somewhat lesser degree. The Lock screen landscape mode suffers from similar problems and a few more glitches that make it more of a “hey, look what I can do” thing more than a real feature.

I’m also confident that Ryan Petrich will continue to support this tweak for a very long time, so there’s that. This is a 1.0 release, and he’ll no doubt address many of the concerns laid out in this post and video. With that in mind, it’s not hard to recommend LittleBrother. It’s a great way to scale your iPhone, and features preferences that rival the ease and simplicity of something Cupertino would do itself.

The tweak is available for $1.99 and you can grab it from BigBoss repo..
