iFixit is a well known team that responsible for fixing Apple devices and making guides to help iPhone users to fix their devices without asking for help from anyone. Earlier today they published a new series of guides for those who might want to know how to self-repair the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, if the situation were to call for it.

Of course, it’s worth noting that a repair like this will void a warranty in most cases, so if something is wrong with an iPhone in your life, taking it to an Apple Store is probably still the safest bet.

Still, if you want to see what it takes to repair select components of Apple’s flagship iPhones, you can head through the source link below. Once there, you’ll find out how to fix or replace things like the volume control cable, the LCD shield plate or the front facing camera and sensor cable.

What do you think ? Have you ever followed iFixit guides to fix your iPhone’s battery or else ?
