The release comes just a day after iOS 8.1.1 was released publicly following a beta release cycle. It adds support for WatchKit, the developer SDK for the Apple Watch, which also went live for developers today.
iOS 8.2 is compatible with iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, iPad 2, iPad (third-generation), iPad (fourth-generation), iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad mini, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3 and iPod touch (fifth-generation).
We’re not sure what changes 8.2 includes outside of WatchKit support, but we’re installing the beta now and will pass along anything notable.
Here’s the download links for iOS 8.2 beta, remember this beta version is only available for developers and we don’t recommend anyone to upgrade to this version.
