Well it looks like that Apple has just released iOS 8.1.2 for iPhone/iPad and iPod Touch, the new update carries build number 12B440. According to the release notes iOS 8.1.2 includes bug fixes and addresses a problem where ringtone purchased through iTunes Store may have been removed form your device.

iOS 8.1.2 is compatible with these devices:
- iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus
- iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, iPad 2, iPad (third-generation), iPad (fourth-generation), iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad mini with Retina display
- iPod touch 5G
It is still unknown if this new iOS software version kills TaiG iOS 8.x.x jailbreak or not, but at the current moment we recommend jailbreakers to stay away from iOS 8.1.2.
If you don’t care about jailbreaking, then the update is available as an OTA download for these devices currently. The OTA update is 28.3 MB for iPhone 6 Plus.
