The functions of the new mobile Twitter will be very similar to those currently available, although there will be new features whose inclusion has been made possible thanks to the use HTML5.
As you can see from the screenshot, the entire web interface is very similar to that of the application for the iPhone, except for a black status bar that appears at the top of the screen.
Through the mobile version of Twitter, you can view your timeline, move between different tab, check your profile and even received any direct messages, all thanks solely to Mobile Safari.
The new mobile interface to Twitter works on iPhone, iPod Touch, and Android phones. The launch, although announced for the day today, will be slow and will be the first in a limited way and then be extended to all users.
