Apple Pay briefly appears in the U.K. as banks prepare for upcoming launch

Apple Pay was briefly made available in the U.K. this week as banks prepare for its upcoming launch. Santander customers were able to register their cards in Apple Pay and even make purchases over NFC, but the service was only available for a short time before it was pulled again.
