Apple ordered components for it’s next iPhone which expected to be thinner, lighter and has an 8 megapixel camera and unlike iPhone 4 that operates on a samsung baseband, this new iPhone will use a Qualcomm baseband, According to the WSJ (Wall Street Journal).

Apple is targeting an aggressive sale of 25 million units by the end of the year following a third quarter launch, “The intial production volume will be a few million units” Said an Apple Supplier.
“The touch-screen devices are so thin. It’s really difficult to install so many components into the iPhones and iPads,” Chairman Terry Gou said. “We hope to raise the yield rate and volume in the second half which will help improve our gross margin.” Mr.Gou said,  As tha main concern with meeting this target is less than satisfactory yield rates at Hon Hai.
