What are the reasons behind this step !? However, that due to the various bugs being reported by early adopters of Lion, Apple is already preparing to release an update that will deal with these bugs. Many sites reported that Lion 10.7.1 could be released as early as next week, although Apple has yet to commented on the subject.
Notes:
- You must install OS X Lion 10.7.2 in order to use iCloud for OS X Lion beta 5. This pre-release version of OS X Lion is being provided solely for testing iCloud.
- Mac OS X 10.7.2 makes significant updates to Lion’s “Mail, Contacts and Calendars” control panel. This is where users will ultimately choose what types of data they want to sync with iCloud.

Last word: With the successful release of Apple’s latest installment of Mac OS X, they still have a significant amount of work ahead of them if they want to meet their self-imposed deadline of a fall release for iCloud and iOS 5. Hopefully, Lion will be able to crush a few bugs before then so we can all concentrate on enjoying the latest version of iOS 5 when it comes out.
