If you wish to experience a new way of interacting with the Home screen folders, you might be interested in a newly released jailbreak tweak dubbed as Exsto.
Exsto turns your Home screen folders menu into a radial-styled view, which dynamically resizes based on the number of apps located within it. The tweak still lets you view the original style of the folder but also allows you to access its stylish radial menu with a tap and hold gesture.
When you long press a folder on your Home screen, Exsto is launched which displays a radial menu of containing apps. Without lifting your finger off the screen, you can drag it to any app in the menu and release it to launch that app. The menu is adjusted dynamically based on the number of apps contained within the selected folder so if you have more apps, Exsto will automatically space the apps closer to each other so that the radial menu can display all the apps at once.
Some of the things you can configure here include:
- Enabling or disabling the tweak on demand
- Enabling or disabling the red notification glow for apps with pending notifications
- Limit the number of app icons that are allowed to appear in the Exsto interface
- Choose the limit for app icons
- Choose a delay for opening Exsto
- Configure a custom distance radius from the folder icon on your Home screen
If you’re bored of the original style and animation of iOS folder then you can bring a refreshing look to it with Exsto, Not only this but the tweak also allows you to quickly launch apps using the drag gesture.
If you’d like to get your hands on this tweak, Exsto is available on Cydia’s BigBoss repository for $0.99 and supports both iOS 8 and iOS 9 devices.
