Should we stay on IOS 10.1.1 or go to 10.2

A hacker stated that there wont be a Jailbreak out for IOS 10.2 because Apple has mad it hard to Jailbreak and that we should stick to IOS 10.1.1 i just need clarfication. Apple is still signing IOS 10.1.1 so i need to know should i upgrade my iPad 9.3.3 to Ios 10.1.1 Before apple stops signing it.
