Many sites posted that he was forced to resign, but this 1st photo proves that Jobs resigned because of poor health. The man looks seriously ill.
It will be a blow for the Apple fans and supporters to see the person who brought Apple up to this level, becoming history infront of them. Though Steve Jobs has taken the less functional role as the chairman of the board, it does not look like he would be able to continue his role.
