As we await the highly-anticipated Apple iPhone event after < an hour, the world are thinking now, is Steve Jobs going to attend this event? As you Know, Steve Jobs is Apple ex-CEO who had reached great levels of success during his years as CEO and who resigned a couple of months ago due to his medical condition.

Rumors have it that Jobs won`t be attending today`s event as he`s not feeling well enough. That came as sad news for all Jobs`s fans though. We are still not 100% sure, but it`s probably true. However,it is expected that Jobs name will still be mentioned during the event. After all, Jobs has a piece of him in all the announcments.Let`s see how:

1. A deal with Facebook that will be stunning in its depth. That Steve Jobs had very little to do with, but Apple is looking for partners to keep its phones relevant against Google and Android.

2. A real explanation of the three-screen strategy at Apple. This one will have Steve Jobs’ fingerprints all over it as Apple expands its TV hobby into a real business.

Reuters on the other hand has reported earlier today that Jobs is expected to make an appearance, but it also hinted at a “no show” possibility and describes it as would be a disappointment.

Sounds like Jobs won`t be showing up after all, but we’re still hoping.

Note from Redsn0w: Reuters didn’t mention any source for the claim, and the report also cautioned that “a no-show by the Apple co-founder will not be a major disappointment.”
