Twitter has released an upgrade today to its official iOS app integrating:
- A new and improved sign up experience.
- Integration with Twitter`s own picture service.
- A redesigned Direct Message view on the iPad.
- A direct upload to photos to Twitter`s photo sharing service available at pic.twitter.com.
The new Twitter 3.5 has executed iOS 5 single sign-on allowing users to get already-configured accounts from the settings.This feature is optional and you can still manually add new accounts.
You can configure twitter`s 3.5 direct upload of photos in Twitter`s preferences on both, the iPad and iPhone. The DM interface for the iPad has been enhanced to receive messages chronologically and by thread.
