As you likely know, Apple released iOS 5 and iCloud last week, but delayed the release of its iTunes Match till the end of October.

iTunes Match allows users to sync their music libraries with Apple`s database of over 20 million tracks in the iTunes Store making these songs available on any iCloud-enabled device with the user`s account.

iTunes Match was in beta service alongside iTunes 10.5 developer releases. The feature was taken off from the public releases and replaced with iTunes 10.5.1.

Today, the music section app in iOS 5 has gained a new toggle for turning iTunes Match on and off suggesting that Apple is near to launching the iTunes Match service.

The toggle now appears to be visible for developers as well as the public. However, if non-developers attempt to subscribe to that $24.99/year service, they will receive a pop-up alert instructing them to sign up through iTunes 10.5.1, which is not yet available for the public.Apple is advertising the iTunes Match service as “coming soon” on the front page of the iTunes Store.
