The iMac Pro was pushed back in delivery dates almost immediately after it went on sale earlier this month, but if you happen to live near Los Angeles, California and happen to be in the market for Apple’s most powerful all-in-one computer, there’s some good news.
As first noted today by 9to5Mac, the base model of the iMac Pro is available to buy with in-store pickup in a couple of Best Buy stores right now. It’s certainly not a lot, but it could be an indicator that Best Buy will begin adding more inventory in the days ahead, and more units could be appearing in stores across the United States for in-store pickup soon.
Right now, only two stores near Los Angeles, California (the Torrance location and Woodland Hills location) have any stock available for in-store pickup. As noted by the company itself, as you can see in the screenshot above, there is limited stock, so if you want to secure one before they run out you should order online for in-store pickup.
In both cases, if you do order online your order should be ready within an hour, so Best Buy has a quick turnaround time.
As mentioned above, this is the base iMac Pro model, which means you’ll get the 27-inch 5K display, the 8-core Intel Xeon W processor, 1TB of built-in storage, 32GB of RAM, and Radeon Pro Vega 56 GPU. You will also get the included accessories (which are all Space Gray to match the iMac Pro), including the Magic Keyboard with Numeric Pad and the Magic Mouse 2.
The price is set at $4,999.99.
Delivery is still an option from Best Buy (only the one model, though), with the company saying that delivery should happen by Thursday, December 28 if you order today.
Do you plan on picking up an iMac Pro if you haven’t already?
