T-Mobile is no stranger to deals and offers for subscribers, and now the Magenta Carrier is readying not just one, but two for Mother’s Day.
Beginning Friday, May 11, new and existing T-Mobile customers can buy one iPhone and get a second iPhone covered by T-Mobile. Customers will be able to choose either the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, or the iPhone X as part of the deal. But, as usual, there are some important details.
You will need to buy both smartphones on a 24-month installment plan, and that second line needs to be ported over from another carrier. You will have to pay the down payments and taxes on both handsets up front, and you will need to trade in a smartphone to be eligible for the BOGO deal.
Here are the devices you can trade in:
“Apple iPhone X, 8, 8 Plus, 7, 7Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, SE, 6, 6 Plus, 5s, Samsung Galaxy S8, GS8+, GS8 Active, GS7, GS7 edge, GS7 Active, GS4, GS5, GS6, GS6 edge, GS6 edge+, GS6 active, Note4, Note5, Note8, LG G6, LG V20, LG V30, LG V30+, LG G5, Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL”
Once all of those bases are covered, you will need to go to T-Mobile’s promotions page and enter the code “18Q2APLBOGO” along with the IMEI of your phone. Once that’s done, you’ll get a prepaid MasterCard that has $700 on it. The money you get for the trade-in will be offered as a one-time store credit, which you can use at T-Mobile as you see fit.
There is one other offer on the table, too. If you buy a new iPhone, any model that T-Mobile offers as a new device, you can get $215 off an iPad or Apple Watch. That discount will be applied as a 24-month bill credit.
You can find more information about both deals through the source links below.
