Siri, you crack me up. We`ve seen SiriProxy control your car, your thermostat, your home, and your own Siri-controlled TV thanks to the Siri Proxy developed by @plamoni. Hackers and developers are just getting crazy with it.

In Music Hack Day 2011, a contest where developers get together and develop something music related, which was held in London, one participant decided to hack Siri to rap to Notorious B.I.G`s Hypnotize song. Check the demo video. Siri is rocking it.

Description

SiriProxy is used to intercept the communication with Apple’s servers. Based on your song request, Notorious Siri then sends your choice of Notorious B.I.G.’s Hypnotize and an a-cappella rendition of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody to the device (the latter requiring 4 iPhones 4S).

Siri’s speech synthesis is synced to the beat using the timestamps obtained from the Echonest API which were then manually tweaked, to smooth out delays in the text-to-speech engine.

Oh, Siri, I Never Knew You Could Rap !
