In response to a number of Mac users reports concerning issues with the Absinthe jailbreak tool for Mac, the Chronic Dev Team has just released an update for the Mac version for Absinthe bringing version 0.2.
The updated version 0.2 fixes issues like devices not rebooting after activating its VPN and the mysterious white icons.
PlanetBeing, one of Absinthe`s developers, announces the update on his twitter account:
…Mac version updated. v0.2: Tries to fix no reboot after activating VPN/tapping Absinthe icon. We also tried to fix white icons on SpringBoard after jb.â€
He also notes that if you still experience the mysterious white icons after using the updated version of Absinthe, try installing an app from Cydia. He adds that if Absinthe crashes, just restart your device and try it again.
However, if you haven’t ecountered any of the above mentioned issues, there`s no need to re-jailbreak.
