RedSnow jailbreak tool has been updated to version 0.9.10b5 to fix DRM issue for iBooks. This fix was developed by famous hacker PlanetBeing and was integrated in RedSnow to fix iBook`s jailbreak detection which caused some images to either not display properly.
If you are having the iBooks problem, then you would want to run this RedSnow version over your existing one and make sure you don’t select Cydia.
The Dev Team notes on its blog that:
If auto-detection fails and redsn0w tells you no identifying data was found, you can always pre-select the appropriate 5.0.1 IPSW using “Extras > Select IPSW“.
